Where would we be without our Friends?

​

Friends of the Library is a nonprofit organization that helps raise funds for library items and activities by selling books, videos, CDs and many more items!  They are a national organization devoted to supporting local libraries by helping provide countless volunteer hours and fundraising activities that help make our library great!

 

Mission:

• To support and enhance library service in Lawrence County

• To create public support for quality library services through gifts, memorials and endowments for the library

• To purchase special and unique items which the library budget cannot afford

• To work for stable financial funding for Alabama libraries
